Bones, Joints and Muscles

Your bones, joints and muscles hold you together and help you to function but they can all act up in a variety of ways, from arthritis to osteoporosis.

Bones help us to move, they support you and they protect the various organs of the body. Another job is the  production of  red and white blood cells. Bones are partly made up of calcium and they depend on other minerals such as Vitamin D, Vitamin K and Magnesium to remain strong and healthy. Joint problems can occur when the cartilage that protects the joint begins to wear away which can cause pain and discomfort.

Muscles also help us to move and function and muscular aches and pains can just be a nagging dull ache or in the cases of conditions like fibromyalgia they can be quite debilitating and can have a huge affect on your quality of life.
