Ageing

Human ageing is a natural process of physical, psychological and social change.

Some aspects of wellbeing decline over time, whilst others increase: reaction time, for example, may slow with age, but knowledge of ourselves and of the world may expand.

Certain health conditions become more likely in older people unless we look after ourselves. However, research shows that even late in life there is potential for physical, mental and social growth and development.

So with all that wisdom, age isn’t so bad after all.

Please use the menu on the right to find out more about the conditions listed.

Please do not return samples to the laboratories that may arrive after Wednesday 27th March and up to and including Monday 2nd April.

The laboratories are closed from the 28th March – 2nd April for the Easter Holiday.
