Amino Acids

Amino Acids

Amino acids make up proteins and are found in every tissue of the body including ligaments, tendons and bones. They play a major role in nearly every biochemical function. A lack of protein in the diet, poor digestion due to overuse of beta-blockers or antacid medication, increased stress, poor eating habits and ageing can all affect the availability of these essential amino acids.

This can result in a variety of disorders affecting the immune system, and can contribute to cardiovascular disease and mental or emotional conditions. Measuring the levels of amino acids, proper balance between them, and conversion capability are of paramount importance in preventing illness and getting to the root of many chronic disorders.

The results report for this test comes with full recommendations for amino acids supplementation.
