12. Privacy Policy and Data Protection

12.1  We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

12.2  Smart Nutrition takes the confidentiality of your personal data seriously. All information you share with us will be strictly confidential. We only share relevant information with the laboratories we send your test orders to and the doctors who comment on your test results. We do not share your data with any other persons or bodies, except as required by law (see clause 5 regarding notifiable disease reporting).

12.3  By purchasing a test, you consent to us sharing relevant personal and health information with: (a) the Referral Laboratory for sample analysis and reporting; and (b) the reviewing clinician for clinical review and commentary (where included).

12.4  We may retain records of communications, results and reports for clinical governance, customer service, legal compliance and quality assurance purposes.

12.5  Incoming calls may be recorded to improve our efficiency and as a record of any telephoned orders.

12.6  You are entitled to see all information we hold about you and to request corrections. Please email admin@smartnutrition.co.uk or write to Smart Nutrition, 47 Lansdowne Place, Hove, BN3 1HF.

12.7  We will not give, loan, sell or rent any of your personal details to third parties unless legally required to do so or with your clear written consent.

12.8  This privacy policy applies solely to personal data collected by Smart Nutrition and does not apply to third-party websites accessible from this site.

Please do not return samples to the laboratories that may arrive after Wednesday 27th March and up to and including Monday 2nd April.

The laboratories are closed from the 28th March – 2nd April for the Easter Holiday.
